 Help Flood Victims A message from Islamic Relief: Quote: Floods in Yemen Heavy rains brought on by a tropical storm on October 23, 2008 caused flash floods in the eastern parts of Yemen, severely affecting the areas of Hadramout and Al-Maharrah.
More than 10,000 people have been left homeless and 180 people killed. The floods have caused heavy damage to the local infrastructure destroying more than 2,000 houses, along with many bridges, roads, and water distribution networks.

Following need assessments, Islamic Relief’s three month response plan includes the distribution of food items for 3,500 households, and non-food items including: 3,500 kitchen kits, 25,000 blankets and 25,000 mattresses. The flood victims need your help. salam
